Apple have launched its first Phablet with the tag name of iPhone 6 Plus last year.  With the launch of Phablet, Apple enter into Phablet Market. Currently, Samsung top Phablet Market with their Note Series.

Design

The design of the iPhone 6 Plus is not different from iPhone 6. It has featured a rounded glass front that runs round the sides of its curved aluminum. It is as beautiful as iPhone 6 is. iPhone 6 Plus is crafted brilliantly.

Despite being larger, iPhone 6 Plus is thin, measuring in at a modest 7.1mm. It is still comfortable to hold. This is the largest iPhone yet by Apple.

Display

The display of this device is 5.5 inch Retina HD display. And it is packed with 1920× 1080 resolution and 401 ppi pixel density.

OS

iPhone 6 Plus runs Apple latest iOS 8 mobile operating system. The best thing about iPhone 6 Plus is Apple has added horizontal mode which iPhone 6 don’t have in some cases.

Apple iOS 8 also adds support for third party keyboards such as SWYPE, and ability to add widget to the Notification Centre. Services of Homekit and Healthkit also added in iOS 8. The final words for iOS 8 are, this OS is the most advance OS for Apple devices.

The best part of iPhone 6 plus is its camera. This is the first ever phone to feature optical image stabilization technology. This, combined with its new sensor with True Tone flash, 1.5 micron pixels and f/2.2 aperture mean it should offer better image. The rear camera riches with 8 mega-pixels and the front camera with 1.2MP.

Apple added non-removable Li-Po 2915 mAh battery in iPhone 6 Plus. The stand by time of iPhone 6 Plus is upto 384h and talk time is 24h on 3G. The battery life of this device is above average.

iPhone 6 Plus is available with 16GB, 64GB, 128GB storage options and it costs Rs.93,000, Rs.105,000 and Rs.117,000. iPhone 6 Plus is available in three colors, Gold, Silver and Space Grey.

This is the Apple first Phablet and its opening device is fairly impressive. It is featured with NFC and Apple Pay, better camera performance and better battery life and Apple latest iOS 8. The iPhone 6 Plus has the screen, a small but appealing package of upgrades over the previous generation and iOS 8 has narrowed the feature gap that Android managed to open in the last couple of years.
